Default Stupid 275 tires

Just thought I would vent.
I had to switch back to a 275 Rear tire because my 285's where rubbing on the IRS bolt and destroying the inside of the tire. and yes I have a low profile bolt it's because my rims have a 5.25in backspacing.
I ran BFG KDWS in 275 a few years ago and they fit the rim perfect but I put Good Year F1's on this time and they are not as wide as the BFG 275's and now my car looks like it has skinny tires in the rear and it bugs the hell out of me.
Moral of story not all MFG tires are the same so remember that when switching brands
Good news no more tire rubbing

I feel your pain. Until I get new rims I have 17x8 245 tires to look at sitting 2in (looks like more) inside the fender.

So true !!! Good example is I heard Nitto DRs run smaller than the size stated.

Its it true also that the sn95 axles run alittle shorter than the New Edge?
If thats the case some tires would clear the NE and not the SN95 my guess.

thanks for info

Hurry up and put Sxy back together so I can buy it back, lol. Make sure you put in a 5.4 4v. ...or just sell me yours and you can keep Sxy.

The SN-95s have a slightly smaller track in the rear than the New Edges.
