Default 02 Mustang GT

Just got involved in my first mustang and wanted some advice about what kind of performance mods i should do to it. The car is already lowered on eibach springs and has 3.73 gears in it, has a bbk intake/plenum, flowmaster catback exhaust with an o/r X pipe. It is a 5 speed manual and has a pro 5.0 short shifter in it.Also came with a Diablo predator tuner and is tuned to a 93 octane performance tune. Has some kind of cai on it i was thinking about dishing out the money for a K&N setup for it. Just looking for some suggestions on what has worked for you guys and some advice for the future of building the car. Thanks a lot

Hate to break it to you but cold air intakes for these cars add 0hp. The best bang for your buck are gears, supercharger and suspension. You first need to figure out which direction you want to go with your car. Then make sure everything is working correctly, then performance.

school boy beat me to t and hit the nail on the head.. Serious power = FI which ='s big bucks. Especially on a 2V. The only other alternative would be nitrous. (which is a form of FI but a lot cheaper). A 75 shot will most def put a smile on your face...

Also the questions that you're asking I'd wished I would have asked 8 years ago.. GL and we are here to help....

I plan on a procharger when the money is saved up and get some support parts (strut tower supports, upgraded motor mounts, etc.) Just want a reliable street car nothing major

I would probably suggest some UCA's, LCA's and maybe some subframe connectors. What tires are you running?

Didnt look at tire size or anything as of yet, just got the car 2 days ago and have really just started learning everything about how the car reacts to different situation on the way to and from work. Im enjoying it as of now and could see some great things out of it in the future. Like i said i am interested in a procharger kit, maybe put some street slicks on it at some point, traction bars and stuff of that nature to stiffen the car up and make her more reliable and fun.
