GT S197 LOW OIL PRESSURE (POSSIBLE sct GLITCH???)
on rare occasion when i start my 2005 mustang gt (my mods are in my sig)
i get a
LOW OIL PRESSURE message
and it goes away this started a few months after i used an sct tuner to tune my car.
i took it to GALPIN Ford and they replaced the computer and wiring and said the computer got fryed.
but i still get it from time to time. They said it was my SCT X3 Tuner and sent to G.A.S. (Galpin Auto Sports) and had them put the tune on. (maybe they thought i did it wrong)
I still get it from time to time they dont know what to do and neither do I does any one know whats going on. luckily i bought a warranty and i only pay 100 bux but has any one else had this problem..

Galpin Ford has also told other people their computer was fried. Don't know if they were right or wrong but anyways. . .
My .02 when it comes to Ford and custom tunes is don't even let them mess with the car. They do not understand how to change certain things in the PCM and when the get specific numbers/reading from different sensors, when they reference their tech guide it will say (computer fried).
The best way to have the issue resolved is to have it dyno tuned by a competant tuner. They will be able to tell you exactly where the problem is (if there is one) and how to fix it. 9 times out of 10 when our cars have strange issues that relate to drivability or CELs, it's related to a custom/canned tune. Even though our cars are built the same with the same programing or software configuration, no two vehicles end up being tuned exactly the same. This is why Ford leaves so much on the table when it comes to custom tuning.
Good luck.
