KB 2.6 Intake

KB 2.6 Intake
So I read on the net someone had noticed the rear of their fuse box was rubbing against part of the KB intake. This would be the "accordion" style part of it that bends and goes down and into the bumper.
I'd like to ditch this piece of junk. I noticed mine is getting worn in the same spot. This makes me fear for what else is going on further down the line where you can't see. Say where the intake goes through the cut you make in the chassis. Wearing holes in this thing could cause a lean condition and you may not figure it out until the engine blows up. A $6000 kit and they couldn't put a stronger piece in place of this or tune with the MAF further up the line. So unimpressed.
Does anyone sell a replacement part for this? Or are you stuck with fabbing up your own? I tried emailing ST motorsports but they won't respond to emails.

There's an alternative...move the BEC over toward the passenger fender! I used the stock BEC bracket I think, redrilled some holes in it and moved it sideways instead of back and down.
