Default Already have a tuner installed should I get CAI?

Hey guys I already have an SCT tuner from AmericanMuscle and I have there BAMA 91 octane race tune on my '10 Mustang GT Automatic. Would getting a CAI get me anymore HP? I was thinking of getting an AirRaid CAI.

2010 air box flows pretty good from what I have read. You will need to revise your current tunes if you do get one.

Stephencovar, Airaid is perfect since you already have a Bama tuner and are enrolled in the Free Tunes for Life program. If the rest of your Stang is stock a CAI will net you about 10 additional hp after the tune is adjusted by Bama. To really get your monies worth of the Free tunes I would take the step towards a CAI and look at full exhaust for a big 30+hp boost in the near or present future. Having a CAI is definitely the next performance step though before exhaust or any other hp mods IMO! Let me know if you have any more questions. I'd be happy to help!

Look at WMS intake. Best gains at the track. Hope to post exact numbers soon

I can't say that I agree with AMshane's statement of 10 HP unless he means 10 flywheel. Since the '10 already has decent airflow with the stock airbox, IMO you'll gain a few single digit RWHP with the CAI and a revised tune. Also IMO, I think it's worth it not just for the few extra ponies but because it looks better.

+1 On that IMO the numbers are a little exaggerated... CAI will sound nice when you get on it and you may feel a little difference

Nuke, it all depends on the car actually. Some cars will make 8rwhp and other 12rwhp. The stock intake is great for a factory product but we've seen 10rwhp on our personal Dyno Jet 224xlc in house. I hope this helps clear things up!
