To give your exhaust a deeper sounds, i suggest running a 2.5" or 2.75" tubing with either a glass pack or dual chamber. Glass packs can be purchased at various places... If you want to go cheap, you could always stop buy your local autozone and pic up a Redhots glass pack for like $22 + tax. Heck even running the factory pipes with a glass pack would lower the frequency a bit.

Im not sure what your mechanical ability is, but when your replacing exhaust componants, have a couple of extra claps on hand because they tend to rust out.
Thats a little to big for a stock engine (acctualy I wouldn't go over 2.25" exhaust becuase you'll lose more power than you gain if you go any bigger)

I think you also need the barings, rods, etc. I'm not 100% sure though seeing as I have never done it before

mine kinda has some ***** when you wind it way up, but it doesnt sound like a V8 if you know cars. i have dual force mufflers which are flowmaster 40 knockoffs.

just my opinion, but i think it's gay as hell when i see a 4 banger with duals or loud exhaust and know that it does 0-60 about as fast as a normal car can run the 1/4 mile
