Default Help?? Can't find were to get new one's

Hello,

Below I have a picture of my dads 1981 Ghia Mustang with a 2.3 n/a with a 4 speed tranny. He bought it original many years ago. With this being around his place a lot of it liked to "rotten out" so called. With those plastic vacuum lines(this is were I am in trouble) that are over the valve cover and that go every were are starting to break. With this were can you get a new set of these lines? If you have links or anything that would be most appreciated. Also more of the lines are in the pass side back near the firewall as well(far left in the picture). Just clueless since we didn't learn this in college for automotive since its all been changed.

Welcome!!

Locally you should be able to take part of the line to Napa and they can match it then just get quite a few feet of it and cut to fit. Or you can go online and buy spools of it in about the same size diameter. From the pics that car looks really clean.

Really? Never seen them have it but I will try and call. What do you do about the ends that are hard little plastic elbows and such?

Good question...take them with you and ask, they might have them. Or any auto parts store. I have never had to get the connector things so I'm out of ideas on that one. Maybe ask a Ford dealer??

I would go all rubber because they are less **** to braking than the plastic.

I removed all the plastic lines from my car and a buddies car with some cheap re-enforced vacuum lines I got for $20 (something like 50ft)

Oh sorry showoffzx2 what sleeper stated is what I meant. Napa might have that size rubber lines, but I don't know for sure where to get the connectors.

There probably is but it won't be worth it when you can go rubber and have it last longer than plastic.
