Hey i have been looking for a mustang for a while and i think i have caome accross a good deal. The car is a 1990 Mustang GT 5.0 has two tone paint(light blue, silver) the paint is faded(sits ou side almost all day) but isnt really that bad for the year, and the back fenders are starting to rust and the hatch is rusted a little(but the guy says he would give us an extra hatch he had in his garage). The car runs awsome it has a cold air induction(standered mount) BBK= headers BBK off road H-pipe and Mac exhaust. It has 3.75 gears and a B&M shifter(5 speed) with a good stiff clutch(stock?) and white face gauges. The car also has Cobra R 280 polished rims(1000 bucks) with Goodyear Eagle GT II's which are in fairly good shape. Inside the car, the seats in front have some stains and the driver side seat is leaning a little bit. It also has a pioneer cd player, not the best, but at least it has one, and a sun roof.It has Power everything. With 115,000 miles. He's asking 3000 for the car and wont budge. Is it worth it.
and the last thing how much horse power as well as Torque will this thing put out with the mods.(stock is 225 hp 300 lb of torque).

Does anyone want to guesse how much it puts out, I just want to know because my cousin claims he has more horse power in his Civic and i want to prove him wrong and bragg about it. He hates when i've got something better than he does.

make sure you respect the car and make sure you are really a mustang guy because my friend just rebuilt his motor and his car had a nasty paint job with chrome waffle rims(94-95 GT) and cobra body kit. second day he brought it out some dumb braud hit him. i feel his pain cause i spent hours with him at the track and rebuilding his engine. jus make sure you dont take it for granted. mine isnt on the road yet and i was anxious but im not any more cause im very carefull now.

I would ask the guy if you can have a trusted mechanic of your choice look it over. I personally wouldn't touch a car with rust- I can't do body work, and there may be more rust than you think. But I had a 110k+ mile '93 GT that ran well and had the same mods as yours, minus gears. I would put it at 255 hp and 320 ft-lbs. $3,000 could be a deal for you; just make sure the car is solid. <img border="0" src= smileys/smiley1.gif>
