Right now its stock, as soon as I learn how Ill be putting in Crane Fireball HI-6 module and matching coil with new Taylor wires, autolite plugs. With that should I make the gap smaller?

What exactly does the gap distance mean. It seems common sense that the longer it has to reach the bigger the spark is, is that wrong?

but if you dont have a strong enough spark it wont conduct across a large gap, why your car was not accelerating over 3900 rpm...
