idle problems

Default idle problems

how would i adjust the idle on a 1988 mustang 5.0, b/c i did head gaskets and now it idle's between 1500 and 2000 rpm's. Thxs

idle shouldnt have gone up that much..... but there is a throttle stop screw on the TB on the bottom side where the air comes in.

I would considering checking for vacume leaks before went adjusting the idle. If air is sneaking in somewhere on a speed density car will cause the idle to be high.

check for vacuum leaks by spraying brake clean at suspected leak areas(all around motor). If idle drops suddenly, its leaking

yea i think it is a vaccum leak but i cant tell where its coming from and the weather is ****ty so i cant do anything about it for a couple of days, but thxs for the tips ill keep them in mind!
