yep. every t-5 i've driven is like that. my buddy's camaro, my mustang, my other buddy's mustang. all of them. this guy that has a 93 cobra replaced the trans, clutch, flywheel, and shifter. he got a replacement t-5. still does it. its normal. by no means does it mean the trans is about dead.

i just went for a ride and tried the 5th then reverse a few times, worked great, then i went to back down my driveway and i had a hell of a time getting into 5th not sure what was up there but i'll figure this all out i'm sure.

im def gonna look for a short shifter this is just too stiff so is MGW what most people would recomend??

Also on a side note is there anyway to adjust the idle its idleling way to high.

yea its true they dont go to reverse good. the 5th vto reverse should hook u up. and 5liter, your is prolly doing like my old one did, the syncs are going out id say. itll eventually start popping out of second. then third will grind, then start popping out. its usually bout a 6month process till the tranny goes but if you get new syncs put in youll be fine.

Well i just solved my problem there was so much slop in the clutch, i adjusted it, well my dad helped me cause i'd never done that before and wow feels like a totally different car shifts so much smoother now and i even got it to chirp 2nd hadn't done that yet, and it goes into reverse so nice now i'm very happy.
