Decided not to sell the 4 eyes
well I decided not to sell the stang.
I finally found somebody to do the emissions for me to say that it passed.thats the reason I wanted to sell it.
Took it to the track many times,the few times out the car ran a 15.03.then I added a velacity stack and a one inch spacer and power shifted it down the track and the car ran a 14.5.Then a couple of weekend ago I took the car out to the track,the first time I ran it I missed 3rd gear,then coasted it on trough,the second run,ran strong as I was power shifting into 4th,I seen something black fly out(no hood at the time because of the v-stack)then water sprayed all over the window I shut her down because I thaught I blew it. so coasted on down to the return lane. hop out of the car take a look at the engine bay, fan was gone and the rad was all torn up,the water pump shaft broke fan came forword and screw up my 3 core aluminum rad.I waited a minute thinking some one would tow me back,no one came,so I get in the car started her up and hauled butt then killed it, and coasted to the ticket booth,they told missing a fan.well since then put stock rad a water pump and an electric fan.
I also took out the interior(rear seat all the heavy sound deadning meterial and also the passenger seat.
went to the track last night,fastest time was a 14.590,my rt was .129 could not get a good light also could not get no traction off the line.and missed 3rd gear(tried to power shift into 3rd)only got to run 3 times was packed. my rt are usually good like .054s the best light I ever got was a .004.
also need some help choosing paint for the car. the car is black now,
my choices are white or orange.

also planning to get some wanna be weld drag lites,a tire company called american tire distributors sell them,they look exactlly like the weld,I can get them for $86 bucks a piece.probably get 15x8 for the back and 5's for the front.
also I'm getting some head that have allready been ported and have chevy 2.02 intake valve and 1.65 exhaust that have not been used for $300. should I go for it?
also in the future I want to put a power adder, what should I go for, nos supercharger or turbo?

sounds like a drag car, get some nitrous.
if its a street car turbo or supercharger doesnt matter. more people tend to get a turbo.
14.5 isnt bad for a stock motor
i cant wait to go to the track

well the motor is kinda stock
it has a real mild cam in it,has a slight lope to it.
has a '65 cobra high rise intake.
15/8 long tube header
3.73 gears in a 8.8 out back,
5spd with b&m short throw shifter.
should of put that a couple of post ago.

I think everybody will need a little bit extra cash because like you said **** will break.[]

Your car sounds pretty cool, I would love to see a fox coming down the road with a velocity stack sticking out the hood. You don't see to many cars with velocity stacks. A set of slicks will really help you out too, you'll probably be close to 13's then.

the velacity stack really helps deliver air to the carb,thats why you see a lot of racers run them.
I'm planning to put a harwood aero scoop on it instead of the cowl,just want to try someting different.
