I have 8000k hids on myblack 88with led corners and turn signals that all match in color along with the 3 piece black and chrome headlights , imo i think the HIDs look really good and the low beams are a lot brighter then my old high beams. Also i read somewher on the lincoln ls forums sight about tinted headlgihts and hids. That you shouldnt do it i put hids on my LS and was going to tint my headlights but if you do that it will supposedly look really yellow going through the tint so i would stay away from the tint on them if your doing hids. The cheap set i got for my mustang off ebay for like 120 shipped look just as good as my 350 dollar ones, ill try and post some pics tommorow of them

They are self contained and pretty much plug into your old socket and then to the transformer then to hid bulb to put in your headlight i think the max they draw it said was like 7.5 amps

I guess im the only one with HID's installed on my 5.0 so far...I have the 6k anLUV them..Much easier to see at night an looks killer. I was thinkin of gettin the 8k but i thought that it was jus too blue an cops were gonna be annoying. I have pics of it with my phone but they suck so i will take sum with digital camera this weekend for u.
Please post pics, I would REALLY appreciate it. I have looked sooooooo hard for pics of 5.0's w/ HID kits and noone ever has any and I can never find any. Thanks.

And thanks for whoever brought back this 6 month old thread, because now I want to waste my suspension money for headlight bulbs [&:]

another great place to look for these is at the junk yard if you can find the nicer cars. not many will beat the oem brightness right now. that and you already kno that its a good quality product and the color/brightness since im sure that u've prolly been blinded by the car once or twice before
