What size socket do I use to remove companion flange bolts on driveshaft 84 mustang GT?Thanks

Please help guys: I'm new to this stuff, need socket size to take out driveshaft. Old galaxie man here just got first mustang U-Joint is bad.

its a standard size socket... i dont see what the hold up is? jack it up, put the car in gear & e brake on and unbolt it and slide out of tranny... you may need to drop your midpipe for clearance...jmo

Do you have a socket set? Why not just try one and than work from there to figure out wether the socket needs to be bigger or smaller?
