Default MSD Pro Billet

i bought an MSD probillet distributor for my 90 gt and the shop is telling me that since its aluminum its not grounding correctly. does anyone know how these things should go in? thanks

I don't know but that doesn't make sense. If an aluminum dizzy won't ground then no companies will even make it. I don't know about what that shop is telling you. You might ask them for more specific details as to why it is a problem, and let us know.

im trying to call these ppl and i keep getting the runaround. its incredible, everything bad ppl say about pepboys is true. i hate not knowing a good mechanic in my area

does anyone have experience installing these things? is there a ground wire i have to connect somewhere else for this problem not to occur? this went from a $120 fuel pump installation to a $1000+ double fuel pump installation and engine diagnostic and distributor install. getting ready to cry

and you should cry..you tried to save a buck and now have spent twice what you should....the old one has an aluminum shaft so thier full of ****...since pep boys is your place of choice go get a mustang repair book this will tell you what you need to know and even a pic or 2 to show you...

you should never go to pep boys i used to work for them they dont care if they break your stuff cause corporate will just pay for it
