I wouldnt say it helped performance on my car but it idles much better. Silver91gt is spot on with the voltage.

test the voltage between the green and black wires(, or ground) key on engine off
should be around 0.98volts

yeah if you can get it to .999 you will be set you want it as close to one but right under as you can get


but after you do this you will have to adjust your idle because it will idle higher once you adjust it closer

i think so if i remember right but you will notice on the voltmeter so just watch it and if it drops obviously turn the other way i mean all you will prob need is like a nudge
