how much should i pay for a decent same color repaint job the 88 factory paint is starting to give out lol how much would u guys pay for a ok job with a clear coat etc... and also anyone have any suggestions about what i should do the ground effects side skirtsare kinda pulling back in the middle and i want to make them stick back up in there, some adhesive?? how do i fix it thanks alot</P>

Expect 2~4K for a mono-color clear coat from a good body shop with warranties.

I'd personally pay only $800 labor, but I'd buy the paint and treat the guy to dinner a couple times (awsome guy, he takes food as payment if you know him!!)

if you don't all the body work and sand the car down and tape it up you may be able to get a 1 k job...hell somtime even mayco has a good painter once in a while check them out..just depense on what you want the sky is the limit

I am planing to buy a 92 Mustang but the paint is s***, I don't have 1,500 to waist on a paint job so I am just going to take it to a colege and have them do it for free and hope for the best...</P>
