MAF and TB

RE: MAF and TB
The H/C/I swap came after the supercharger and after the nitrous, so I couldn't give you an estimate on those.
The closest think I had to a "stock" run on the car was when it had O/r H-pipe, flowmaster 40s, UD pulleys, and a CAI (stock headers.) That was 190ish. I can't recall the exact numbers unfortunately. Only did one pull on it and it was right before the S/C swap. Didn't waste time tuning, etc.
I also haven't run it since the swap because it isn't tuned yet. Well, not enough to go WOT. Just got my tweecer 2 days ago and just got the car running again last night, lol. But before the H/C/I I had 320 RWHP on S/C, water / methanol injection. It was 430 RWHP with a 100-shot of nitrous on top of that. I know, it was 110, but it was supposed to be a 100-shot, lol.

RE: MAF and TB
On an otherwise stock Fox 5.0, a 70mm MAF (such as from a 94-95 Mustang) will gain 5-7hp.
These results are covered in the dyno book by Holdener.
With your cam, it may be worth more?
A 65mm TB will probably be fine while you have that cam.
The 70mm MAF from a 94-95 Mustang will be cheap if you can find it in a j/y. You will just have to find an inlet adapter for the air filter; which can be found for $35.
Then stock pile cash for the heads...

RE: MAF and TB
what year explorers did the gt-40 heads come on? I dont want the P ones caus i cant afford another set of headers right now. and will i see that much gain with just heads? i mean will the stock intake and tb be able to handle the increased flow?

RE: MAF and TB
I'm spraying only a 100 shot cause I dont want to crack ym block so I'll put put around 410 rwhp
You might want to go with even a 65 mm throttle body. Bigger isnt always better. If you go to big you will hurt yyour peformcane down low. I have trickflow heads trickflowintake etc. and I'm only doing a 65 mm on mine. You want the maf to be bigger however.
