maaco can do great work and they can do crap work it's just depends on who they have working for them at the time, i spent 4500 (with getting charged 3/4 price for every thing) the end result is in my sig. it's vermillion red, the car looked great from far and even better up close..... most paint jobs will look great from 2-3 ft. away but when u get with in a couple inches and start looking at angles and thing u notice a lot of defects (happends to all paint jobs)

RE: mustang paint suggestions and cost?
You get what you pay for,I cannot stess that enough. Of couse it all depends on what you consider a decent paint job. I will bet my right arm that the guys suggesting Maaco and I have a VERY different idea of what quality paint and body work is. Depending on your location exspect to spend $1500-4000 depending on material cost, haz-mat issues, and the amount of prep your particular car needs.
