ok....This thread is more about installation than gears. What I want to know is, those of you who have installed your own gears, was it a fuzzy warm experience for you or would you recommend actually taking it to a shop and have it done? I purchased a set of FRPP 4.10's along with the "install kit" from 50resto.com and am debating on tackling this myself or not. Any thoughts? Thanks!

$300 - $400 for a full overhaul (labor cost) is not a bad deal, anything less than that would fall in the TGTBT (Too Good To Be True) area, and quality of the work would be questionable.....do suggest you have them done, simply because it's not a "replace & torque" type of installation, and it requires some special measurement equipment.....check the procedure at http://www.angelfire.com/theforce/5o...5ohtech001.htm .......
