more ac issues - line problem

more ac issues - line problem
O.k. here goes, the lower line is a hard linethat goes to the evaporator right where the firewall is on the passenger side, it comes from the condensor. The question is, what type of connection is it, some type of flare, can it be recrimped or do I need a new evaporator and a new line. It some how popped off. It was nice to have air for a few days. Thanks for all the help

what could that mean.. the upper hose was unscrewed all the way when I got it. I am beginning to wonder if something was not put together right. When the air worked, it worked very well, you could very well be right about to much pressure
