Wiring Help

Sorry for posting again but I need some help so I can work on this tonight. I wired up 2 aftermarket gauges and I wanna put itto a toggle switch. What I did was cut the wire, connectedthe same wireback together with another wire and ran the other wire to the toggle switch. What did I mess up on?

If you really want to do the toggle switch there should be 1 wire comming of the gauges for the light. Hook them together, run a wire to 1 post to the switch, from the other post of the switch go to a power source.

I just thought about that. run one wire to the battery and to the switch, then run it from the switch to the gauges.

Why would you want a toggle in between your gauges?

Yea i dont know why he would want it ? But i not knocking him . if he likes togge switch gauge's then it's his car let him do it! I like a lot of funny things on my 5.O, But 5.0 or ment to be custom IMO So do what you want "Run a toggle to your CAI if you want"LOL !!!
