Ok I just bought this mustang off a buddy and here is the list of mods done to the car but it still has stock injectors and stock m.a.f (55mm). When does the stock one go static? I'm assuming it cant handle more then 260ish whp or around there. What kinda power should this motor be pushing? Brand new rebuild and runsgreat down low. above 5k it kinda dies. I checked the timing and it was at 14*. I'm not a newbie on cars but I am on this car. the ecuis set for 24lbs and cobra maf , Should I go bigger? [&:]

1) GT40 Intake manifold
2) GT40 heads
3) BBK 75mm Throttle body
4) Ford racing pistons & rods (9.8.1)
5) Bored . 30 over (306 now)
6) Flowmaster headers back
7) Two Random technology cats
8) Ford racing ECU
9)Stock MAF
10) 19lbs injectors
11) 3.55 gears
12) BFG Drag Radials (10 inch)
13) Ford racing C clip eliminator clips (rear end)
14) Cobra Short shifter
15) Brand new T-5 tranny
16) Ford racing flywheel
17) Ford racing clutch
18) MSD Ignition
19) B303 cam
20) Pulley kit (2 Piece)
21) Electric Radiator fan
22) Cobra Radiator
23)Ford racing Thermostat (160 open)
24) Walboro 255 High pressure
I've got a similar setup as urs and run almost similar times i could do a lot better with good driving lol i have a bad habit of launching bad and missing third gear. I ran a 13.8 @ 103.3mph with a crappy 2.2 60ft. Mine makes 268rwhp and 296 rwtq.

Even when you do get the 70mm MAF, lose the 75MM TB. It's too big. You have some other mismatched parts as well that should go.

And BTW, you're lucky you don't run lean and grenade your engine. You've got H/C/I/ and some other performance mods and you're revving the thing well above 5k while starving it for fuel due to incorrect injectors and a REALLY bad tune.

I'm not beating on it at the moment!!! Once these guys get back to me on the maf I will buy it. I am also going to bump my fuel pressure up untillI get larger injectors.

I'd go with the meter before the heads, cam and intake.

I have stock heads, cam, intake and throttle body. Car went 13.8@101.

Swapped to the bigger meter it went 13.6@102 with no other changes. I was so impressed with that run I packed up and went home. Can't help to wonder if there was more in it. All runs were launched from idle and shifted at 4800rpm.
