mac long tubes and o/r h pipe on 86 gt?
hey guys,
woulod it be better to put on shorties instead of long tubes? i have a great deal on a h pipe with longtubes. i am going to purchse the 86 gt t-top i have been looking at and i was wondering if this will be a good setup. it already has a ford racing cat back. but its to quiet so i was thinking that long tubes and an h pipe would awake it a bit more. what do you guys think?

There is no beating the sound of long tubes....however, they are illegal in many states.
If you are in one of those states, and you are trying to keep it street-legal, that may be a deciding factor...

well i am in ontario. but here they came up with this rule taht if ur vehicle is pre-87 you dont have to do emission testing. so i am purchasing an 86 so my vehcile is exempt. so i dont have to worry about emmisions. so long tubes for me.
