Default RE: AC not turning on

Is it safe to change out the pressure switch or does the system need to be depressurized or anything?

Thanks

Trust me summer time in AZ you want that A/C!

Could be your low on freon take it in for an A/C check if your still R-12 be prepared to pay $$$$$$ for a fix. If your converted to R-134 just pick up a can with charging hose from Checker or Auto Zone. they have plenty of them there in Gilbert. I just moved from there I hope for the last time!!

That's definitely the truth. haha. The car has be converted to r134. I just dont know if it's safe to change the low pressure valve or if the system needs to be depressurized or anything like that. Anyone?

yes, the system must be evacuated before you can remove the pressure switch.

test it first.

like stated above, just run a jumper wire between the terminals in the wiring connector, if your problem goes away, you've found the culprit.
