ignition module problem

ignition module problem
I installed a ignition module over the weekend. Well now when Im rolling around 2100-2200 rpms. It feels and sounds like it arking.I unplug the module and arking stops...wtf. Is there something I need to adjust on the car( fuel or timing)? Thanks for any help.

if your talking about the tfi module that bolts to the dizzy make sure you put dialectic grease on the back of it or try another one try to see where the noise is exactly coming from a dark room and a light spray mist of water will find any arcing!!

+1, thats a thermo diaelectric grase. Its meant to disapate heat and prevent arcing. If you dont put it on there strange running problem happen.
Also, mist some water on your plug wires make sure theyre not shorting out to one another.
