i didnt realize you could stroke a 351 that far...

sounds like a chebby motor anyway, dont do it!

yeah but not with the stock block I just went to frpp and with the siamease bore block kind of like the new ford boss blocks you can bore them further as the block has thicker side walls. don't know how well the combo would work like they say: there's no replacement for displacement!!!!

You run into problems with clearance from hitting the camshaft running a 4.25" stroke. It's a bitch to balance. It is extremely difficult to get a piston with a big enough dish to make it pump gas friendly. I'd back down to a 4" stroke and build a 427".
