aem wideband guage and sensor, you can see your a/f ratio w/ the guage and hook the tweecer up and see it in there also with ur datalog.

btw sam do you kno how to make the adjustments so that tweecer sees the same a/f ratio as ur wideband, i kno through wire resistance the #'s change. i have the aem guage and it has a bosch sensor.
I'm runing mine a bit differently and handled that problem from a different angle. First, I replaced a stock NB with a Bosch WB. Then I run narrowband emulation so there are no problems. Then to take care of the resistance issue (or at least help it as much as possible) I kept the wires VERY short, and actually spliced straight into the wire harness about 1 inch from the computer. The distance from where e wire comes out of the controller to where it goes into the Ford computer is literally about 7 inches. That was about as good as I could get.

I'm dealing with the same problem. You have to get a wideband transfer curve for that AEM.
Then load that curve to Cal Con. Good luck trying to find the transfer curve. If you find one
let me know. But open Cal Con , click the setup tab, under the EVP signal transfer click AEM or
PLX thats what I use. then in the second window click AFR.
If you're using the EVP signal (and it seems that you are) use this for a transfer:

5v 20.0
4v 18.0
3v 16.0
2v 14.0
1v 12.0
0v 10.0

It's just a straight linear transfer.

when you go WOT with a narrow band O2 gauge it will tell you if you're lean/rich or w/e, but it doesn't give you the number and it might not be as accurate.

when you go WOT with a narrow band O2 gauge it will tell you if you're lean/rich or w/e, but it doesn't give you the number and it might not be as accurate.
But here's the problem with that. The narrowband has a very small range that it can read, hence the name. It has a range of 1v, which is basically from about 14.25 to 15.25. If the numbers go lower than that, it will tell you that you are rich. If te numbers go above that then it will tell you that you are lean.

Now lets say you floor it and go WOT. Lets also say that while in WOT, you have an A/F ratio of 14.0:1. Well that's really lean for WOT and you can run into some major problems. Yet the narowband gauge will tell you that you are rich. So you can end up blowing your engine all the hell because you are too lean, but the wideband is telling you you are rich.

That's just part of teh reason that it is useless.
