maybe im just dumb but need your help 3g upgrade
OK ive read an read all the articles an im still stump i got a 3g alternator where he gave me the plugs an all for it i know i had to shave the braket thats done.wiring the two green or whatever two wires to eachother to the regulator now my exsiting harness where the stator wire is i cut an the 2 black an orange wires what do i do cut an mount them to where i put the power wire or what? also it didnt come with a pulley can i use my stock 2g pulley an use a spacer so it doesn't sit so close to the alt?Its just i have't find any pix on this i can read but need to see lol...

cut the 2 black wires, and tape them up good and tuck out of the way.
Now run 4g fine strand power cable from that post over to + side of battery or hot side starter solenoid
Good idea to put 120amp in-line fuse on the power cable too.
Make sure to up-grade your grounds too, from battery to engine and from engine to frame

You can, but its better to just run nice expensive 4g stereo amp power cable by itself
I think. That way you KNOW the cable carrying the power load is up to the task.
I think leaving old ones hooked up just lends itself to a fire hazard.
Thats what the in-line fuse on the 4g cable is for too.
I've got mine mounted down where the airbox used to be.
