man i am surprised my77 haven't chimed in yet, lol. He was pretty excited also. But i would like to stick with a cleavor build. i will be going with 2v heads instead of the 4v. But do they make closed chamber 2v "c" heads?

Thanks all, i am kinda glad i didnt get it now. i can put some money into the 1994 thunderbird i just bought. and i got a new job today while picking up a buddy at his job. So i got a job and bought a new car today, which i wouldnt have done if i went to windsor, lol.

yes they do make the heads you ask of, they are "aussies" and can be found on ebay from time to time.

I wouldn't get it if I were you, you may end up paying $650 for a cracked block and worthless internals, then you're just out $650. Get a 351W block if you REALLY insist on doing a Clevor from somewhere you know you're not gonna get screwed. And I wouldn't waste time on stock Cleve heads, at least spend some money for the Edelbrock Cleveland heads and it will be very potent and still have bottom end. Spend the bigmoney on CHI heads and the engine will be an absolute beast

I keep hearing how you will have no bottom end with cleveland heads, but it just isn't true. It's not like it will be gutless like a Honda 4 cyl. Besides, while ther are better aluminum head out there for a windsor, they ALL cost a lot more than cleveland heads. Not sure if this was already mentioned, but you could look for 400 or 351M heads as they are the same as 2V cleveland heads and are probably easier to find.

well still for the cost of the pistons, the moroso oil pan, and the main girdle, i am at about 1000+ for those parts that are in this engine. even if the blokc is cracked still in my eyes a good deal. IMO
