Tranny question for you pros

RE: Tranny question for you pros
I put a sn95 driveshaft in my 89 when I did my 5 lug conversion... I had an sn95 donor car and my U-joints were shot so I used the driveshaft from the SN95 that still had good U-joints.
I think the fox driveshaft is smaller in diameter and lighter though...

RE: Tranny question for you pros
hey need help, since u guys know a lot about trannys, my 95 cobra is been acting up. When u rev it past 4000 the shifter will start to shake uncontrolable, u cant even hold it. Few people told me that it was the input shaft bearings, i swapt another tranny that i got for a few bucks. It was fully rebuild, we installed it and the same problem...if this has happen to anybody...help....

RE: Tranny question for you pros
Just make sure they are V8 transmissions because 4cyl input shafts have a different nub on the end and take a smaller pilot bearing.
The pilot bearings are the same thought for the fox's and 94 and ups.
