Default Changing the Harmonic Balanacer

I'm about to change or attempt at least to change the HB on my fox. Does anyone have a step by step on how to? I need the idiots version:

1. Lift the car up 26" or No need to lift the car
2. Remove the Fan/Shroud/Radiator etc ect
3. Use a 13mm socked and place it exactly ...

Well you get the point. If none, then i'll wing it and just post questions as I go along.

Thanks guys.

What year is it? also you sholdnt need to remove the radiator. A few years ago i changed mine and left it on teh ground. I had to remove the fan/shroud/serp belt. On mine I had to remove the water pump and grind the bottom a little due to the type of the HB i used. remove 4 bolts(before u remove the serp belt yo want to break loose the bolts that hold the HB on.

It's a 91 GT.

Leave the Serpentine belt on as I loosen which bolts? The HB? It has bolts? 4??? I thought it only had one bolt in the middle with a washer?

Remove belt...

The pulley is connected to the balancer by 4 bolts. Remove them...

There is one bolt (15/16" head) holding the balancer. Stick your car in 5th gear (not 1st or 2nd) if a manual, and use a break-over bar to spin the bolt counterclockwise.

Remove the bolt, take off the washer and reinstall bolt HALF way into the crank threads.

Then attach and use balancer pulling tool...

Thanks guys.

Well the balancer is all changed, but the battery is dead (bad alternator). I have it on charge now and will test the new HB.

FIXED!

Thanks to all who gave suggestions. Oh my what a difference the balancer makes. The car runs like a cadi now . Would you believe it, when I was about to remove the old one, the surrounding rubber piece came off! It was broken pretty bad!
