weird clicking soundthe

every now and then i hear a clicking sound coming out of my mustang it sounds like it is coming out of the ac vents in the middle of dash right above the a/c panel any ideas on what that is?

ive heard this on my 4 cylinder too! so its not specific to the v8 ones, but id also love to know what causes it, i just turn the radio up and deal with it.
