Default backspace for 275's??????

what backspacing is anyone running to fit a 275 in the wheelwells with out sticking out past the fender. i don't really wana roll my fender. I have draglites with 275/60r15's on now and they stick out a bit and when i launch, they cut in pretty bad, i'm thinkin i have a 4.5 backspace right now, but not positive. I would like to buy another set of draglites with some stickeys for the track, and would like the biggest tire i can fit in the wheel well without rubbing. suggestions???

It will be tight but the 275/60r15 is supposed to fit on a 15X8 rim with a 5.5 b/s, that is what i have coming to me from summit right now (sorry cant tell you for sure but that is what i was told)

5.5...ARE MY welds and I got 275/50/15's.....around corners it'd ruba little on the inner well but a MM 1/4 inch spacer and pan hard bar has solved any body roll / rear end shifting in my ride

if you have 5.5 backspacing then, when u launch does your tire potentially hit the fender at all, or will it clear and go up in the wheel well?
