Here are the stats on the car this is not my sig car it is a new one...to me.

Im trading my 1993 Twin Turbo RX7 straight up. read and let me know what you seasoned vererans think..

1987 ford mustanf GT 5spd transmission, 2nd owner and have treated car like a baby, car is in perfect shape, many modds done to the car. Have well over $20,000 invested through the years owned. Has new 351w built few months ago so car doesent even have 5k miles, car has a vary high 13.5 compression ratio and runs on 110 octane fuel so deff not a daily driver. What you recommend?? they seemed a little small to me. He says he has driven the car a few thousand miles. I think it might be less comp than that. that just seems retarded high. I am gonna go straight to the dyno as soon as i get here and see what it really needs.

i'll bet you the compression is lower than 13.5, everyone always thinks their compression is higher than it is.

and for the record, with cast iron heads i ran my old 302 with 110 / 93 in a 50/50 mix and sometimes eve 100 av gas / 93 in a 50/50 mix and never had any pinging. motor had .440 dome trw's in a zero decked block with milled 351w heads.
was supposed to be like 12 - 12.5:1 but honestly i bet it was more like 11.5 by the time you take into consideration the cam and whatnot.

anyhow, there is nothing wrong with trying to blend to save some cash. you'll notice it pinging in the final gear under a load before it pings just running - so you'll know what you can get away with.
