Set-up Opinions

RE: Set-up Opinions
I still really like the look of the TF manifold, and the r-series looks cool. I agree with the larger throttle body and MAF, 75/80 combo. Someone said that wasnt a good idea at some point in time. Soo, that brings the changes to AFR 185cc heads, an FTI cam, a larger throttle body and MAF (75/80), and a different intake, the trickflow r-series intake. Oh and ford racing lifters. Since im not using trickflow heads now should i get different rockers?

RE: Set-up Opinions
Go with stud-mounted rockers. The heads will have studs on them, instead of the stock pedestal style.
The studs screw-in, and pedestals are pressed-in, if you need to know the difference.
Make sure your rockers match the size of the rocker studs.
3/8" rocker studs = 3/8" rockers
7/16" rocker studs = 7/16" rockers
Ed at FTI will set you up with all of this when you are ready. He can get you the thicker rocker studs and rockers to match.
He will get EVERY top-end piece you need...
The Trickflow-R is a good intake, but it is not my choice for a 6,500 or less shifted 347.
