I talked to brenspeed yesterday about setting up an appt. for the dyno after the SC. He was telling me to ditch my MAF sensor and get the C&L. But id also have to use stock computer settings. I just yanked out my 30#inectors and slapped in 42#'s. He was telling me the C&L is a manual setting specifically for the 42#ers. What would be the difference between just getting the stang tuned with my MAF now or running the C&L?
Will a chip tune be done regardless of MAF used?

If so, there are better options than the C&L...

I've never heard of a 'Custom tuner' recommending a C&L meter.
That is a little confusing...

My tuner recommended a C&L.... I just stared at him blankly.. i couldnt believe my ears!

I have had only one. My experience wasnt very good. I bought it at a FFW event. It was my bad for not looking it over well. It was brand new. I bought if from a vendor. Anyway a couple of week's later i decided to install itsince i was doing my intake. One end of it was not tapered[:@], so i had to spend about a half hour on the bench grinder so the stock air tube (i'm not sure of the name but the air hose that connects to tb) would fit over it. After i did that it seemed to work fine though. But this was on a stock engine.

Yea i just added a paxton. Right now my maf is set for 30's, i just put in my 42's. So the C&L is the way to go than?
I would not recommend the C&L. I ran one on mine for a couple years. It worked ok, but was not optimal for my set up. I recommend going w/ a p-mas 75mm blow-thru.

You won't be sorry. My car runs so much better since switching to the p-mas. Then have a custom chip burned for it. You'll be glad you did.

Ya Dave(guy from brenspeed) went on about the c&l for like 10 mins. bout how he has the the most improvements with switching to the c&L. MY MAF is a Pro Flow Professional Flow Technologies 75mm, and no i dont know what my cfm's are or capable of. Sounds like i should just stick with what i got and work with it.
