RE: Power Steering Pressure Hose Blowoff!?!
my pressure hose on my 89 has a small metal c clip that holds it within the nut. when i tightened it on the last time i ovaled the nut by accident and it would keep blowing off all i did was squeeze the nut with pliers till it was round again and it has stayed ever since.

Wow....there was no clip on mine.....and no clip with the new system either....
But as I said, the new hose seems like it is better made.....
My only thing is, when I turn the wheels....and getto the end, the hose will tighten up and actually move....Is this normal? I imagine this is the point where the pressure is the highest...does that sound like it is too high?

that's normal.. when you turn it to full lock pressure will spike briefly so don't hold it at full lock...but the pressure spike will often cause hose movement= normal condition
