i believe that the 750 is a bit to much right now....maybe take it down to 650 would get you better response and a slightly better torque curve...
also, what revs is the car pushing? at what rpm are you shifting? I would buy crane double springs just because valve float is something you dont want. Also an edelbrock air gap intake would give you some much needed HP up top.
also some m/t et street drag radials...my car changed its behaviour completely over just changing those two tires in the back, I got 255/50/16 on pony rims

always keep it RAW horsepower.... besides exterior or interior upgrades saying ur doing it the proper way........ heads like mrj said.... or u could get think about ur cooling or air upgrades.....
