i wouldnt go with the cobra intake, its not really that great, ull only see about a 10 horse difference if ur lucky, go with sn-95 cobra, like mjr46 said, ull see the best results and it will bolt right on

if you mean "pop right on" as in upper only.....no you cannot
the gt40, cobra (mass produced gt40) and explorer (mass produced gt40 -egr spacer) all use the same lower. if you need air...do it i am big gt40 fan
if you are looking for hp and stil have stock heads...look elsewhere
an intake swap w/ stock heads will get you nothihng....cuz you don't need more air...the heads are maxxed out, i don't say this from what i've herad...i say this from experience
my '90 got nothing from a true tubular gt40 (w/ ported lower) over the stock 5.0

i have an older gt40 truck style on my car and id agree nitrous bob i had ported to the hill stock heads from a 95 gt and i only saw a 8 hp gain, and mind you i have a 75mm throttle body and a massly ported gt40 lower, to get more flow you need to change your heads then youll see the differance...your getting air in but not getting it out with stock heads, even if they are e7te ported to the hill its just not worth it...

i would go with a set of eldebrock heads or a victor series head or even the gt40p series heads are ok for a mild street machine, trick flows and afrs are for serious racers or street machines, like if your doing heads cam intake stuff like that then you spend the money on that stuff in my hummble opinion
