new acquired 5.0 maintance questions
Looks like I will be picking up a 92 Limited Edition Mustang tomorrow. 48,000 miles, 5 speed, all stock. The car needs detailing and was wondering what I should do immediately as it has been driven sparingly for the past 2 years.
Oil and filter brand ? Change trans fluid, what quanity and brand ? Should I go synthetic ? Rear end same ? Air filter, gas filter ? Anything I've forgotten ?

fuel silter, pvc valve, plugs, wires, cap and rotor. oil(motor, trans and rear end if you want to be that extensive.) syn. is fine at that milage. anything wrong with it? leaks ect...??

were the vibrant red convertibles the special edition '92? or was it the Yellow and triple white verts as well?

The 92 Special Editions were one color only, vibrant red. The 93's were either red, white, or yellow. This is a 5 speed car and supposidly only 500 or so were 5 speeds.

the yellow were '93 1/3 w/ the only chrome wheel ever factory released for a fox (useless knowledge) the white had white wheels
emerald green (7-up) were '90 and only model av. w/ turbines other than a GT
the '92 1/2 were red w/ white wheels
other than the chrome yellow car, all were white leather, all were white tops, at least in '90 the color code was special to denote limited edition "PA" not sure of the newer ones though

oops....btw congrats...very very nice find and low miles to boot, get some pics up, and yeah do all synthetic everywhere...drain the trans through the plug...fill it up through the shifter base if your swapping shifters, otherwise you'll have to pump it in
