if you go aod...only get a lentech or you'll be sorry
as for the c4....lots of choices.... PA , precision industries, don't go tci or b&m, but many choices

RE: torque converter advise
Edge converters get great ratings, and I've heard good things regarding Precision IndustriesStallion series converters, although they are expensive. I personally have a "yet to be installed" Redneck Performance 9.5" 3500 stall converter for my AOD (non lock up). Only reason I bought it was I picked it up onthe Corral classifieds for $275 shipped to the house. It's never been installed and came with a brand new 1 piece hardened input shaft. The original invoice was included and the guy paid $325 for the converter and $125 for the shaft back on 9/27/07 (I bought it in December 07). Jury's still out on it until I get the time to install it.You can get a lot better converter for what B&M & TCI wants for theirs. Stay away from the cheap ones, or you'll be replacing your tranny in no time. Do some research!
