Default exhaust question

I own a 92 LX (stock at this point) and am installing a flowmaster cat back exhaust. Both side flanges that connect to the catalytic converter piped needed to be drilled bigger to fit. The passenger side system finally went on after tweaking multiple times. The drivers side flange would not fit either and also needed to be drilled. When installing the muffler, to fit snuggly on the cat pipe, it was angled way off to the side. I can get it to sit where the muffler belongs by putting it in the stock rubber hangar. I am having a hard time connecting the tail pipe to the muffler. Flowmaster said to loosen all of the bolts including the H pipe to exhaust manifold. Any other suggestions would be appreciated. Getting quite frustrated.

yeah get new headers, h-pipe and stop being a baby exhaust is probably the easiest thing to put together. haha jk about the baby part. anyway loosen most of the stuff up and start fitting it all together then start tightening up bolts and it will all come together. as it starts getting tighter together start adjusting it before it gets too tight

with a mig it's not that hard.. penetration and clean surfaces are key and working the bead is also key...with a little practice you'd pick it right up...I had a few welding classes many years ago in high school.. I learned on an arc welder and also used a torch to braze with too
