What belt with Smog Pump Bypass
I have removed the smog pump and I picked up a 76" belt. I am having a problem though. It is shredding the edge of it as it comes across the alternator pulley on the inside(closest to the alt.). Things seem to be lined up. I replaced the idler pulley with a new one, but watching it run, the new pulley seems to be wabbling back and forth. I guess it could be the problem, but it really does not look like it. I am wondering if I am running to short of a belt. What belt are you running bypassing the smog pump?
