Cobra 1993 SVT 5.0 Question

Hello Guys,
Could you please let me know how I can distinguish a real cobra from a fake one ? How do you read the VIN numbber on the real one ? please give me any tips.

THe vin# will havea "D" in the 5th position I think and the car will not have cruise control.

yeah, SVT started in '93

True, but...

They were SVT but I don't think any of the Cobras had SVT badging until '95, unless '93s were different.My '94 doesn't say "SVT" anywhere on it, including the engine.
