OBD-1 codes for a 1993 Ford Taurus?

OBD-1 codes for a 1993 Ford Taurus?
I have a check engine light, and Auto Zone said it was code 16 and all the book said was air/fuel ratio?
Would you guys think 02 sensor, or maybe fuel injector? Or am I way off on this?

None of the above..... '93 Taurus systems use the 3-digit format. Instead of taking it to Autozone, run the DIY KOEO/KOER/Cylinder Balance Self-Test and make sure you have the correct data. LUK

Well thanks, I didn't think the guy knew what he was doing, b/c he tried to plug it in under the dash, and I said isn't it under the hood? LOL
I was looking at the tester and I thought I counted a 7 in the sequence, but he said no, it was 16, 16, 16.
