where are the casting numbers on the heads of a 302 and also where is the fuel filter located its and 84 gt??

not sure on your 84 but i hope this helps,

look at the spot before your first sparkplug on your passenger side thats were mine says GT-40P
and the filter should be somewere between the fuel tank and engine, jus follow the fuel lines

usually under the valve cover

On the bottom side of the head is the accual casting number. Under the valve cover should have the year stand in the rocker area.
