I need help on Rocker arm selection!!
I have a 1989 ford mustang 5.0 with gt 40 aluminum heads and a B-303 cam. I tryed using my stock rocker arms on them but found out the rocker arms hit up against the retainers on the valve springs. I need to buy new rocker arms and not sure what to buy! I know I need to go with 1:6 but not sure if its 3/8 or 7/16 and whether I need stud mount, or pedestal mount. Can anyone help me out please!!?

if u can go stud mounted do it... way easier on adjustment. I hated shimming those darn pedestal rockers.. Do reasearch on what works far as brands... u dont want noisy rocker arms.. I hear comp cams pro mag rockers they are chroemoly not aluminum. I believe u get what u pay for.

if your stock rockers would have worked then that means you have a pedestal style mount and thats what you need to go with. stud mounts are much better though.
i like the crane energizer's myself - never had a problem with them and they are relatively cheap
