Default Out of round tires

What kind of symptoms will I experience with two out of round tires on the front of my 87 mustang. Can that make the shifter vibrate real bad.

it would make the whole car shake real bad. it will feel like the front end is bouncing up and down. your shifter shaking is a driveline issue

what kind of shakes do you get and at what speed? 45+ feeling it in the seat of your pants or floor or shifter is a driveline vibration. a vabration that gets worse with engine rpm in any gear is an out of ballance vibration with the engine, 55+ in the steering wheel is something with your wheels although rear wheels out of ballance you will feel in the seat of your pants but at a higher speed like 65+

Years ago i had a vibration that turned out to be the stock driveshaft. A weight came off at some point and i could tell where it used to be. A new shaft fixed everything. After my last accident i had a faint vibration from the rear. My mother was driving behind me to the shop and noticed my drivers side wheel wobbled which was either the slightly bent axle shaft or the slightly bent rim, not sure which but something did feel off while driving. New rim and shaft fixed everything.

Run into any large potholes lately? They can do some damage.

Check you trans mounts, engine mounts, shifter, u-joints and the driveshaft and all 4 wheels for missing weights, sometimes you can tell. I dont drive stick...would a bad throw-out bearing cause a vibration? How old are your shocks/struts? Check your rear wheels for any wobble and proper inflation. Maybe you need an alignment. If your front tires are in fact flat spotted, rotate them and do a few burnouts and see if that fixes anything .

Check everything, wouldnt hurt.
