Default heavy duty?

hey there just a question and yes i tryed searching it (thought there was a sticky somwere?) if someone could just poin me in the right direction.... whats the deal with the police interceptor motors i know they're "HEAVEY DUTY" but why? whats different from a regular 302 and is there any way to tell if a motor is a roller without pulling the manifold? any help is great thanks

no difference just better coolant hoses, gigger alt. better fan clutch nothing about the power

just like the interceptor package on the new police vics, just cooling, braking and suspension on them, no power add ons
